Requirements

  • One year experience with data analysis, technical and customer support, GIS, or other related fields.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel), databases (SQLite, MySQL, etc.), and geospatial tools (QGIS, GDAL, etc.) is required.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, and other languages preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt.

Job Tasks

  • Assist Customer Success team with technical and data inquiries from customers.
  • Build rapport with customers as a subject matter expert.
  • Infrastructure mapping at customer sites.
  • Data creation and manipulation for flagship software and modules using GIS or other methods.
  • Analysis of datasets, including but not limited to: customer engagement, machine learning training data, spatial, and tabular data.
  • Design, build, and maintain workflow automation algorithms for data management tasks.

Knowledge

  • English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
  • Communications and Media — Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
