About the Role: As an Electronic Security Lead Technician at nSide, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students and educators. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems in schools across the country. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems
- Lead a team of technicians and provide technical guidance as needed
- Work closely with clients and vendors to ensure project requirements are met
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Conduct site surveys and provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements
- Provide training to clients and end-users as needed
- Document project progress and provide regular updates to senior management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or technical school training preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in electronic security installation and maintenance, with a focus on access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems
- Experience leading a team of technicians
- Strong technical background in electronic security systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Certifications from industry organizations such as AESBL, ESA, NICET, or BICSI are a plus

Salary: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
