One of the key uses for these funds, as outlined by the grant (Act 2023-389), is “to assist with the total cost of projects that will improve school security and safety.” Because the nSide School Safety Platform is registered to all public schools in the state of Alabama, if awarded, your school(s) could do things like update their maps and 360 images, or add additional solutions such as camera systems, access control systems, and fleet management – to name a few.
Each technology upgrade we offer seamlessly integrates with the nSide platform so you can manage all your school’s safety technology in one place. This means that all members of your school’s safety team, including administrators, SROs, law enforcement, EMS, and more will know what to do in an emergency, and exactly how to respond to save lives.
